Dreaming of owning your own business?
Weddings and special event franchising with Dream Day Dressing Rooms®
Open your own location to build your own business and your future
When you’ve thought about starting a business, you might have assumed you’d need to begin from the ground up. Craving more freedom and ownership over your career is one thing, but figuring out the hundreds of steps between idea and implementation is a whole other ball game.
But there’s a different way to start, own, and run a business. We’ve been through it, and we’re here to walk you through it too.
After discovering a huge unmet need in the wedding industry (while planning our co-owner Amy’s own wedding!), we founded Dream Day Dressing Rooms® in 2016 to provide pop up bridal suites to help couples elevate a room in their venue as a beautiful, functional getting ready space.
After 8 years and 500+ events in Minnesota, we’ve worked through all the trial and error of starting a new venture and have crafted a practical, profitable business that we love running – as a family!
And now, we’re opening up and inviting franchisees to join us from wherever you live.
There’s room for you in this business – and in this industry.
Weddings are a $72 billion industry in America, with close to 2 million weddings held across the country just last year. In tevery state, couples are planning to get married – and they’re touring venues near you, dreaming of a beautiful wedding morning.
Their dreams are often met with a rude awakening, though. A photo-ready, functional getting ready space is one of the most-requested amenities by couples… but it’s also an amenity that many venues can’t or don’t provide.
This leaves lots of couples looking around for a solution – and ready to invest in one! – that they can’t find. At Dream Day, stepping in with the fix (and having fun doing it!) is what we’re all about.
You're invited make the Dream Day vision your own
Franchise with us!
With little competition (yet lots of demand) in the “getting ready room”-rentals space, opening your own Dream Day business is a practical way to tap into this need where you already live.
Partnering with Dream Day as a franchisee lets you efficiently and confidently step into a business without all of the trial and error of designing operations from the ground up. Our 8-week onboarding process guides you through business startup, managing inventory, hiring contractors, operations, marketing, and more, with a team member as your personal coach.
You can:
Start your own business with a low barrier to entry
Unlike purchasing a brick-and-mortar business, you can become a franchisee without real estate or employees. You can choose how much furniture to invest in upfront, and can grow your inventory along with the business.
Grow your business on your terms
Because weddings are primarily a weekend-based industry, you don’t necessarily have to jump all in right away. You can plan a growth trajectory that makes sense for you, your family, and your goals.
Follow a tried-and-tested business model, reducing the risks you’ve been worried about (and the headaches along the way!)
You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, experiment with products and pricing, develop your own inventory and logistics system, or build a brand from scratch. We coach you through a thorough, personal onboarding process that brings together all of the expertise we’ve developed over the past 6 years of building a successful business.

Meet the Dream Team
We’re family, founders, and your franchise coaches
We founded Dream Day Dressing Rooms® in 2016 after our co-owner Amy planned her wedding in an absolutely perfect historic hotel – except for the empty conference room the bridal party had to get ready in. There was no rental company out there ready to add function and style to the space, so we rolled up our sleeves (literally, we move furniture!) and got to work.
Since then, we’ve worked with over 500 couples, partnered with dozens of venues, and achieved Hall of Fame status from The Knot. But after hearing from couples all over the country who wished that a business like Dream Day existed near them, we decided to make it happen, and carefully crafted a franchise opportunity we’re proud to invite you into.
As a family- and women-owned company, our hope is that we can help you follow in our footsteps, develop a rewarding career of your own, and run a business that feels like your dream. We’re here to show you how!
Still wondering if franchising might be right for you?
You + Dream Day might fit together like champagne and wedding cake if:
You’re in search of flexible and rewarding workdays, including primarily weekend-based weddings
You’re located in an area with an active wedding and special events market
You’re ready to play a hands-on and trustworthy role in your clients’ very special day
You’re excited about joining us as an industry pioneer and leader
You align with our corporate mission, vision, and values
And let’s be clear – being straightforward, truthful, and transparent is at the heart of how we run Dream Day. If any of these apply to you, joining us might not be right for you at this time:
You’re not available for weekend work
You’re based in a very rural area
You’d rather join an existing business than be hands-on building and leading your own
The estimated initial investment of $56,000 to $107,550 (per our franchise disclosure document) is prohibitive for you
Not sure yet whether opening a Dream Day location is right for you? That makes perfect sense. Franchising is a commitment, and the decision is a big one. To begin exploring the possibility, the first step is to request more info – no pressure or strings attached.
